Born here, stayed here. Syracuse University, twice. Two young kids he wants to grow up proud of this place. He isn't running to move up — he's running to show up.
He buys the parts that keep assembly lines running, first at Carrier and now for a manufacturer here in town. He teaches negotiation for a living. The job is finding the deal where both sides get something, then getting it signed.
There are 17 legislators. His first move is to sit down with the other 16.
